Personally I feel like SR3 had a lot of fairly decent ideas but sadly didn't execute them well. Like there's a helluva lot of potential but unfortunately it just doesn't really reach that point. Again this is just how I see it. I mean damn I'm still pretty miffed that they kinda hyped Loren up a lot only to have him killed off so quickly, lmao.
That is true, but you gotta admit, there was a pretty good excuse for that. THQ was going bankrupted and the game was pretty much rushed. Especially when you see BTS stuff of SR3 we were going to get. Good example to shit going not as planned, is Shaundi’s survival guilt arc.

I never read the manga cause tbh I feel like for the most part adaptions of Nagai's work do a helluva lot better, but damn was this rough. Like extremely good but rough as hell. Felt kinda sad by the end ngl.
I haven’t read or watched anything by Go Nagai other than Devilman. But yeah. No matter what that’s a rough story to get through at the end there. I obv cried at the end b/c that’s what I do so they did a good job in that regard for sureÂ
