Spring will come faster than I can spin my head left. So I'm jumping ahead and planning 5 spring outfits than can be interchanged with clothes I already own and 2 stand alone outfits. Below is my spring top and skirt ensemble . So far it has taken me about 2 weeks to work on. I sewed these button patches then attached them to my sleeves. Pardon the pins holding the top closed I have yet to embark on the button hole journey. Any advice anyone ?

Actually sewing something from scratch has been difficult lately due to having no time at uni. But i have been repairing some clothes because wearing things for three years straight apparently makes them fall apart (sigh).
For example this flannel shirt that's seen me through a lot but started to wear down at the collar and cuffs and had a big rip in the sleeve

Sailors outfit! I have always liked these and was reacently inspired by I'm from the 1940s to finally make an outfit for myself. T-Shirt, skirt and jacket are all hand made and self drafted.
