DIY Crystal Bloom Rose β Make a Sparkling Crystal Flower
Create a dreamy crystal-covered rose using just five simple supplies: a silk faux rose, potassium alum powder, a glass mason jar, wooden skewer and cotton twine. Prepare the alum solution with very hot water, suspend the flower so the petals sit in the solution without resting on the bottom, and leave it undisturbed for several hours or overnight. As the solution cools, crystals can begin forming across the petals and edges. Remove the rose carefully, allow it to drip and dry completely, then display your sparkling bloom as magical handmade decor. Itβs a beautiful project for a crystal-inspired room, decorative shelf or handmade gift.
