I saw the new divinity trailer, I was hopin soooo much Larian was goin back to that and my hope has been answered. Hyped aint even a strong enough wooooooord! I paused my golem sketchin to do this real quick cause I had ta, but also I had expected I had plenty of time to get through Mark’s bg3 time and maybe even into DAV before Larian’s new game and now I’m stressin I ain’t got as much time as I thought I did. I fully planned to keep Mark in their games and make it a continuous story(DAV ending up bein a stepping stone in that since I had more hope in a DA game.), so I’m hype, but also over here like ‘take your tiiiime, make it greaaat, please for tha love of god give me time to finish this’ XD All an’ all this is gonna be somethin imma look forward to. And the dark grim theme has me zoominnnnn, I like fey and folklore for a reasonnnnnn gimme all that shit yessss

Ai stuff aside, the super realistic art style is kind of boring?
Like the lizard dudes just looked like generic dragon dudes, and the overall vibe felt indistinguishable from other fantasy stuff, if it wasnt for the final imagery I don't think I would have recognized it was a Divinity game until the last moment. Like sure it looks really good on a technical level. Maybe it'll look better once we can see more of the character designs and stuff on their own but it just looks like it could be literally any dark fantasy setting right now.
