Indulge in the heavenly combination of fluffy yeast-raised doughnuts filled with a rich chocolate cream. These delectable treats are perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings!
Ingredients: 1 cup warm milk. 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 large eggs. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Oil for frying. 1 cup chocolate chips. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Powdered sugar for dusting.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Make a well in the center. Pour the yeast mixture into the well and add eggs, softened butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until a sticky dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size. Roll out the dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut out doughnuts using a round cutter. Place them on a baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for 30 minutes. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350F 175C. Fry the doughnuts in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and heavy cream together in 30-second intervals until smooth. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Once the doughnuts are cool enough to handle, use a pastry bag to fill them with the chocolate cream mixture. Dust the filled doughnuts with powdered sugar and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious Chocolate Cream-Filled Yeast-Raised Doughnuts!
