may I ask about what the super specific way you ship destiel is because that post made me giggle really bad and I’m now uber curious…not in a hater way at all !!

there are a few key points to it but i haven't thought deep enough about them because if i get too invested i'll have to look for fic and the very idea of scrolling the destiel tag is disgusting so there's gonna be some nuance to my destiel beliefs missing But ☝️
they can never get together ever ever. my destiel is in the same vein as my transfem dean and my agender sam. they Can not and Will not ever achieve what is broadly considered the goal. no realising or coming out or transitioning and absolutely no getting together in the end. simultaneously cas torture and cas blessing (because while he wants dean it would be a terrible relationship for him. #abuse #horny). also it cannot be "woe is me, my crush doesn't like me back" angst but that's more presentation than core.
it's complicated emotionally speaking. cas in my beautiful mind experiences emotions different from how humans do. it's like how he tastes molecules but instead it's him noting each reaction in his brain and body. feelings are different! but on a chemical level it most closely resembles what people often call love and his body does experience symptoms of arousal when it comes to dean, so that's what it is to him. dean on the other hand isn't really in love with cas per se, chemical or descriptive. he has sort of a sexual fascination with or fixation on cas. it's to a lesser degree than with sam ofc but it's the same principle. he takes an interest in cas' sex life and indirectly involves himself in it unnecessarily. him taking cas to the brothel and paying for him to get laid is the same as him taking sam to the strip club and paying for him to get a lap dance yk. he's more focused on cas getting laid and who he's getting laid by and when he's getting laid than he would be with a friend he's 100% normal about.
kind of related to the last bit of point 2, it's connected to wincest. there's no erasing the wincest from dean if i'm engaging in dean slash and that's just a fact. sam and dean are a system! they are incredibly difficult to separate from each other and even if you succeed you still fail (think dean's miserable life with lisa and sam's whole life in dean's honour after dean's death). and when you're shipping dean with his brother and dean's concept of Family comes above nearly all else and then dean says cas is like family, worse, a brother to him. well yeah. it's also related to sastiel but that's not what this is about even if sastiel is not-secretly my favourite pairing (sorry.)
dean is bi (sorry) but like the transfem thing he will never figure it out. in fact destiel makes him worse. like with sam it's all "well he's practically a girl anyway" or "it's not gay if it's incest" but with cas. i mean. come on. "junkless sissy" and cas being implied to actually be agender (with such hit lines as "benjamin is an angel; his vessel is a woman" which shows that cas views being an angel as separate from gender even when he refers to his fellow angels as brothers and sisters)...... yeah. he's not figuring it out. the denial just gets worse and worse.
cas having a thing for dean makes him blind to a lot of dean's faults unless he's suffering from them in that very moment. dean having a ~thing for cas makes him very fun and lighthearted one moment and incredibly cruel the next. you can imagine how this probably worsens their already unhealthy dynamic.
it kind of becomes a john with dean and sam thing where dean is john's weapon and sam is john's baby but now it's cas being dean's weapon and sam being dean's baby. cas gets something like dean's need to keep the family together but needing it to be dysfunctional so he has purpose but on a much smaller scale because again, sam and dean are very hard to separate.
sam is not a fucking destiel cheerleader. he's jealous of and a little angry at dean and feels a sisterhood with cas (<- sisters <3 and dean ofc is papa. shoutout to when jensen said he played the destiel confession like a son coming out to his father). jealous of dean because HE likes cas (not as complicated as whatever dean and cas have going on. he just genuinely loves the guy) and wants cas to like HIM back, angry because dean is mean as fuck to cas (sometimes claiming it's on sam's behalf like with the wall thing) and he always has to step in and defend him (which gets messy when dean is claiming it's on sam's behalf, obviously). sisterhood with cas is because they're his twin victims <3 and also other parallels like the whole "always trying to do what they think is right (often For Dean) and making things worse" thing but that's NOT what this post is about. anyways. he doesn't feel threatened by cas' place in dean's life except under very very rare circumstances like s8 when he said "another angel? another vampire?" and that's just because his place in dean's life was already threatened by benny. not jealousy but more misdirected anger. and again, Rare. but he is Not a fucking cheerleader.
essentially the gist is that they can never be happy together, it has to be at least a little incestuous, it's always gonna be abusive, and sam has to be there. sam being there is arguably the most important part, followed by them never being happy together. generally speaking all the rest is flavour and dressing.
