What's trying to come fourth in my life?

I can go two ways. Help me decide which way to go.

What shouldn't I do about it?

Where is love in my life?

What an I ignoring?

What am I not seeing?

What's holding me back?

What have I forgotten?

What could trip me up?

What is the future telling me?

What have I learned?

All you need is three stones (doesn't have to be crystals I'm not sure how well it works with normal stones) and enough energy to charge them. This can be done anywhere you feel comfortable but for the safety of your crystals/stones I suggest you sit down.

-Start by holding your stones in you hand. Your smallest stone is your 'no' stone, your largest is your 'yes' stone and the last one is you 'middle best' (that's just what I call it you can change it if you'd like)

-take a long deep breath and Picture energy moving from you into the stones. Repeat until you feel they are ALMOST fully charged. Make sure there’s room for more energy.

-“Let me show all of which the crystals know. Green is no. White is yes. Black is my middle best. (Ask question)”

-pull close to face and take a deep breath. Picture energy moving from you into the stones

-ask questions again in a hushed whisper

-take a long deep breath and Picture energy moving from you into the stones

-drop them

-if your yes stone is closest to the middle best the answer is yes/if your no stone is closest to the black stone the answer is no

Methods:

1. Laying Out the Runes (Spread Method)

• Spread all the runes face-down on a flat surface (a table, altar, or a dedicated casting cloth works well).

• Quiet your mind, focus on your question or intention.

• Hover your hand over the runes and feel which ones “call” to you (you may sense warmth, a pull, or simple intuition).

• Turn over the runes you feel drawn to — usually 1, 3, 5, or another number depending on the spread you’re using.

• Interpret the selected runes and their positions as your answer.

2. Random Draw from the Pouch

• Keep your runes in a small bag or pouch.

• Center yourself and clearly state or think your question.

• Reach into the pouch without looking and draw the number of runes needed (often one for a quick answer, or three for past/present/future, etc.).

• Interpret the drawn runes, paying attention to whether any land face-up, reversed (merkstave), or in a particular order.

So over on the Any Witch Way Discord, the mods have decided to run Plentiful Earth’s #30DaysMagicalRoots Challenge for the month of April. The challenge is a way to revisit your magical roots, or explore different aspects of magical practice if you’re new to it. I probably won’t manage also posting to here every day, I’m already three days out, but we’ll see how it goes!

Day 1 - Divination

Use your favourite form of divination to ask 'What should my focus be for this month?' Reflect on the themes of your divination reading. What answer speaks to you the most? 

I used my set of clay Eldar Futhark runes for this challenge, as they are my most familiar divination tool. They decided that a single rune was insufficient, so gave me a three-rune reading (Overview, Challenge, Action). The general message was to be mindful of my relationships at this time and ensure good communication.

For anyone looking to get into/try out a new form of divination, here is a list of the various techniques that I am aware of. Some of them aren't suitable for questions like the one above, but I thought it was a good excuse to share anyway. Happy to hear about others!
