@Divetoemergency: Therapy of the Endless Sorcerer
@divetoemergency
Heâs postponed this conversation for too long. If possible, he wished that they could keep this going on, betting on a unreasonable miracle that Ange would figure out by herself the problems with her behavior and have a change of heart.
But he knows that this is not how this sort of thing happens. He knows that, if he turns his own face and othersâ away from the truth, theyâll just keep repeating this play of minor explosions until the whole house collapses.
In a certain sense, heâs kinda glad he doesnât have access to the power of Game Master in Hive City. At the very least, that forces him not to fall into the temptation of gaslighting her again. He canât provide her with a happy fantasy that would give her an understanding of the familyâs more positive side.
However, thereâs one thing that Hive City can provide and the Witchesâ World canât: help. The professional kind. <RED>Ange needs professional help</RED>. Thatâs undeniable truth. But she wonât seek it on her own. Thatâs where he enters.
The door to her bedroom terrifies him. Thereâs nothing in it thatâd justify such a thing. Yet, going on through the possible scenarios this conversation might end at again and again makes Battler feel like throwing up. After what he feels like centuries... he takes a breath...... and knocks the door.
â...Ange? Itâs me, Battler. Can... Can I enter?â
