Hmmm I think he can talk if he wants, but chooses not to so he can mess with Christopher lmao. Also it's probably harder to talk above water as opposed to underwater because fish reasons. So instead he just makes mouth noises and whistles to communicate, since Christopher wouldn't know a thing about mermaids. And I did toy with the idea of Kennith being able to sing, so I'm gonna give that a hard "maybe" lmao
Christopher's thought process upon seeing Kennith goes like this: 1) "this bastard just ruined my suicide attempt how dare he" and 2) "holy shit is that a mermaid" and it does take a hot minute for him to process the fact that Kennith is real. Kennith has to literally climb onto a rock beside him and show him that the mermaid tail is real and tangible for him to believe it

You won't believe how hard it was to keep that remix a secret, I've been dying to get it out there for QUITE A WHILE but kept holding off so that I could make a video for it. I almost posted it as just audio several times because I couldn't wait, thank goodness I held off lmao
