They----.. They really can go a few more nights without eating, but they don’t want to. They really, really don’t want to. They’re peckish and honest to whatever god might have created a creature such as them just going to get something to nibble on. ( A hand? --Eyeballs, too? )
Calvin’s absolutely quiet as they look around before going on and hopping the gate. With any luck, the shovel they stowed away on the cemetery grounds has been left untouched. If it’s been moved, they’re pretty sure they know where they can find another. This has been going on for.. A long, long time now. And they like it here; they’re glad they haven’t been seen trespassing. Or eating the bodies of the deceased, for that matter.
