I'm so done with my dissertation supervisor:
Tells me I can't contact her for an entire month and gives no explanation for that
Says she can only read my dissertation and grand total of twice in the entirety of my time with her as my supervisor

Sends me feedback for nine pages out of. Fifty. Six.
Insists that she can't read anymore of it today and says she'll get it read by tomorrow at 2pm

I literally am just so done
Thank you to everyone who congratulated me for passing my comps exams! I’m still recovering from 2 days of celebrating--ha!--and I have another party to go to today, so I’m expecting to be a little hungover and tired tomorrow. At least my students are doing their own presentations, so I don’t have to teach!
Anyway, thanks so much, friends! I can’t believe it’s finally over. I spent an entire year of my life working on these exams (ridiculous, honestly). For those of you who’ve asked, the next piece of the PhD puzzle is to write the prospectus. That’s basically a document that outlines my dissertation project. Once I write that and my committee approves it, I can actually start writing the dissertation full time! Yay! It actually feels like I’m at the end of this process. So crazy.
