Honestly, to me, they are the other yin and yang couple in Atla, and the vision Aang had in the swamp said it all--he should’ve listened. Not only was she his next teacher, but the one person to balance him out. Not Katara. And I will die with that belief. That said, I have a very “vanilla” taste for Naruto ships in comparison to most of the fandom, but I still love them! Without further ado, my ships are:Â
NaruHina (they are just too sweet and precious, and I always liked the idea of them as older individuals. But honestly, everything was cemented with The Last Movie).
ShikaIno (never liked Temari so I can’t stand ShikaTema, but I don’t mind InoSai. I’ve always thought ShikaIno would be great for one another as they grew as characters, especially after the Asuma business. It’s a shame it wasn’t explored properly).
JiraTsuna Tsunade, you freaking moron! *cries forever*
SasuSaku (some of the most amazing fanfiction I've ever read in my life belongs to this ship. I watched this anime entirely in Japanese, and I think there are a lot of elements western viewers don’t understand about how Japanese culture displays love, and on top of that, shonen works are shit about romance, but...it’s there. But I get it and that’s enough for me, and I am also a masochist, so it’’s always been SasuSaku for me).Â
