The two could not be more different and yet, Viktor has a fond respect for Dale. Time and time again they had managed to skim past all the terrible PR and convince the public it was not shit being smeared over SDN, but chocolate. But their was plenty of holes to punch in the stories, if anyone was interested in doing... which he was. It was in his interest to see SDN, specifically the Torrance branch on the negative in the public eye. They were making his side hustle more difficult to pull off. So when the time came for the Press conference to address the people of Torrance about the Red Ring's war, Viktor was there in the front and center. For some reason the Torrance Tribune was given the exclusive on interviewing them... everyone else was given an excuse not to show up or simply... vanished. So, here he sat across from Dale, one leg crossed over the other. His notes in order, which he pretended to skim through as if he didn't already know them by heart.
"I was surprised to see we would be speaking again mister Davidson. I'm looking forward to this interview". It was probably the last pleasantries he would offer. His tone was friendly, but he was already thinking a number of steps ahead, no doubt Dale was doing the same, it's what made him good at his job and a worthy opponent in a battle of wits. "I suppose we will start off with the obvious... the Torrance branch has been the target of a large scale criminal attack. It is believed that the company was not the target so much so as it was one you employ. What kind of assurances can SDN give their subscribers that they are not essentially paying for SDN's safety, when your very employees can have a large enough target on their back, that all of Torrance suffers for it?".

Slowly he spins around in his chair, the small semi open cubicle he sat at was open on a corner, allowing for plenty of observations on him... much to his displeasure.
A Small smile tugs at one corner of his lips as he gazes up at the private eye. "Just a journalists mind" he says almost convincingly enough that he himself believed it. He was expecting some suited up lawyer come to serve him a cease and desist notice, had they sent a private eye instead? or was she here on her own accord. In his brief stint working at SDN, Viktor had not had the pleasure of meeting Emma, but was aware of her work. "You've reached Silverstone's office miss...?".

Technically they caused at least twenty thousand dollars in property damage... all on SDN property, all on their dime... so no one was going to get too upset considering the damages Viktor had done was still being estimated.
The only difference was, no one knew it was him.
Viktor had been tasked with interviewing Phoenix program team members for a convoluted story his boss was sure to drag in readers. Much to his own dismay, SDN had obliged his request. So of course he was asking about his own handiwork.
"Given your... ability to potentially cause such damage... are you given guidelines to follow while protecting the city?" He has to be careful with how he frames the question, what he is really asking, and what he could point out in post is. . . "What's stopping you from causing such damage off company premise".

Coffee burns his upper lip, burning the midnight oil, he needs to stretch out the day an other four hours minimum to catch up on work, he will simply use a more well rested body tomorrow. That said he is going over SDN's leaderboards to see the numbers... unsurprisingly Xue has crossed an other milestone. More surprising, they still work for SDN.
Regrettably I did not secure them in time before making an enemy out of them... a shame you have such promise as a hero, I could have made good use out of you had I played my cards better.
He makes notes on other promising reformed villains he could pick from the network, guide them towards an other company he had more stakes in. Speaking of those heroes he should probably see who he has in the roster for surveillance...
Rach is beginning to over reach... in the grand scheme of things they have proven to be quite capable of becoming a problem should they use their wealth and social power to get in my way... inadvertently or on purpose...
