Yeah sex is great but have you ever run yourself a bath and then sat in the hot water while having a good cry about how objectively awful your life is because you’re going to be disabled for the rest of your life making all the big dreams you had when you were 10 years old impossible to reach and every attempt to get help fails and every time you get told that you’re essentially beyond help you’re expected to just pretend nothing’s wrong and you can’t even cry anymore without being in pain after a minute and you’re supposed to go to scary and overwhelming doctors appointments all by yourself when you can’t even feed yourself on a regular basis because „you’re an adult who needs to be independent“ and also there is no one in your life who truly loves you and the last two people you considered friends are slowly drifting away from you and you can not remember the last time someone just held you and comforted while you cried and told you it would be ok, you’re not even sure that has ever happened at any point in your life and it has been a very long time since someone has invited you to hang out because you’re objectively difficult to have a good time with and you’re too disabled to make or maintain any friendships and it doesn’t really matter anyway because you’re too burned out from dealing with all of this to enjoy anything and even your hobbies have turned into chores that have to get done and you know your pets aren’t gonna live forever and you’re wasting your limited time you have with them being stressed out about having to care for them because it’s just all too much and you just want someone to fix it all but instead you’re expected to just get up again tomorrow morning and suffer through this horrible existence but also you shouldn’t think of it as horrible because „being disabled isn’t a tragedy“ and it’s not but you just can’t do it anymore and you will die alone while everyone else gets their happy end… and then you go and eat the rest of yesterday’s leftovers and think about making yourself a huge bowl of popcorn and watch your favourite show because life goes on…
