Kate was one of the few people who were completely colorblind. One day, Katie was walking through the hallway in her favorite dress when a boy in her class came up to her. “I know you can’t see color,” he said, “so I thought I’d let you know that that dress is the most hideous shade of green I’ve ever seen and nobody likes it.” Katie pinched the fabric between her fingers and looked him in the eyes. “Well then it’s a good thing I don’t dress for you,” she replied, “because this is my favorite shade of grey.”
