Rineke Dijkstra
“Rineke Dijkstra (born 2 June 1959) is a Dutch photographer. She lives and works in Amsterdam. Dijkstra has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society, the 1999 Citibank Private Bank Photography Prize (now Deutsche Börse Photography Prize) and the 2017 Hasselblad Award. -This artist really influenced my project in the last stages of framing and mounting. I mimicked Dijkstra's style by trying to photograph a minimalistic change in the emotions within the diptychs.”

Exploring the connection between two expressions.
At first looking at my contact sheet as a whole I found that I liked the natural flow of expressions, in each model. I realised that I should focus on capturing the expressions of the models using a fast shutter speed so that I can capture realistic expressions, instead of capturing a directed or forced look/ expression.
