Dion stiffened slightly at the sound of her voice before he slowly turned to face her, expression pinched. "......Was there something you needed.....Empress?" His tone was stiffly formal and he did not even slightly incline his head.

Dion sighed heavily and leaned forward on the windowsill. "Much as I wish it was otherwise, yes." He would be Bahamut until his dying day, and with every time he was forced to become Bahamut, that day hastened a little closer. Considering his absolute disinterest in women, perhaps his death was even desired so that Bahamut could be born anew in a new vessel. A fact he did not want to consider.

"Accidents happen." Dion agreed. "Let the servants clean it up." Though he paused to pick up the wyvern's tail which now lay on the floor, twirling it gently between his fingers as he straightened up. He stepped over to tuck it into Eri's breast tunic for lack of places to put it and slapped his shoulder afterward. "Come, Eri. You can make up for breaking the vase by sparring with me."

Questions piling up. What was the current state of Sanbreque? Were there any Dragoons left alive? Were Clive and Jill alright? What of Joshua? Had they encountered Terence? So many questions and no guarantee of answers even if they made it back to the hideout safely. All he could do was sulk that he wasn't with them.

Dion paused in rolling his wrist to look over his shoulder at the one addressing him. "Nothing serious. Just some minor tension from overexertion." He turned to face Athena fully and gave her a slight nod of acknowledgment. "Lady Athena. To what do I owe the pleasure this day?"
