[[My favorite part about the JoJo’s fandom is how incredibly fun it can be. It’s been around for ages now and there’s such an incredible variety of absolute insanity of the best kind. When people just embrace the ridiculousness of it all and run with it, it’s honestly one of the best fandoms I’ve been a part of.]]
🌿 = my least favorite part about the fandom
[[What will ruin any fandom for me is shipping wars and JoJo’s has had some real humdingers. Maybe I’ve just gotten too old to be that invested in whether two fictional characters are hooking up or not, but it’s something I don’t really understand.
You can ship character A with character B. You can ship character A with character C. If it’s not canon, they’re both equally valid. I don’t see the point of attacking someone over it, but holy crap does it cause some epic dickery.]]

dio-saur replied to your post “♡ //From Diego, dio-saur. I'm sorry (?), but I could resist.”
//I think this pots just made my day considerably better.
[[If I brightened your day just a little bit by writing a silly post, that is the most awesome outcome possible. I mean, that’s actually kind of humbling and I’m so, so happy you liked it.]]
you sure wanna kill me, huh? Read more for length.
19. How do they behave within a group? What role(s) do they take? Does this differ if they know and trust the group, versus finding themselves in a group of strangers? Why?
Within a group, if it’s a group of strangers, he definitely tests the waters at first, trying to see if there are any defined roles already. Mostly, he’ll play a passive part, just trying to blend in with the group. If he knows the people though, he’ll feel a bit more comfortable and free, he might even take up more of the leader type of role.
20. What kind of individual relationships do they have with others, and how do they behave in them? How are they different between intimate relationships like friends, family, and lovers versus more impersonal relationships?
With impersonal relationships, he has this colder, bit more distant persona up. However, the more comfortable he gets with a person, the more he is likely to either show cracks in that facade (or drop it entirely if he gets close enough to someone).
21. What kind of relationships do they tend to intentionally seek out versus actually cultivate? What kind of social contact do they prefer, and why?
He just wants to fill that weird, empty feeling in his soul. Be it through friendship or love. However, because he is also somewhat scared of attachment, that might be harder for him. So a lot of his attempts ending up with people just disappearing on him (or him just disappearing). However, some people have chosen to stick around for some reason, and he really appreciates them.
22. How do people respond to them, and why might these responses differ?
As said before, he has this ‘persona’ of sorts when approaching people, this more impersonal colder shell. Some might see him as just another shallow rich person ‘cause of that, while the people who he is comfortable around see a completely different person in comparison.
23. How do they respond to difficult social moments? What makes them consider a social situation difficult?
Answered already~
24. How do they present themselves socially? What distinguishes their “persona” from their “true self”, and what causes that difference?
Well, I could have referred all questions to this one, haha. Basically, since as a kid he was ridiculed for his ‘imaginary friend’ (aka Stand). He was kind of a loner as living in one place for most of his life meant that rumors got passed along fast. This reputation preceded him mostly, so it was hard to make friends.
So, as an adult, once he got his business up and running, he didn’t want to be that person again, so he just took to trying to blend in with the group, acting like the people he had seen in real life, movies and so on. So he presents himself as this charismatic, suave guy.
25. What do they need and want out of relationships, and how do they go about getting it?
He mainly wants the affection. That’s where the charismatic persona come into play, most of the time. He just tries to charm his way to it.
26. How do they view and feel about relationships, and how might this manifest in how they handle them, if it does?
He holds genuine friendships in very high regard. So whenever he does get that kind of relationship, he will be very, very loyal to his friends and hard to shake off.
