The beautiful Wandi the Dingo, the miracle “Dingo who fell from the sky” was found in a residents backyard in Wandiligong in Northern Victoria, with claw marks in his back, most likely having been dropped after being taken by a bird of prey. After DNA testing, Wandi was indeed found to be a 100% pure Alpine Dingo, our most vulnerable Dingo, and now lives at the Dingo Discovery Sanctuary near Toolern Vale with his gorgeous partner Hermione. Wandi’s amazing story has done a lot to help the cause of the Dingo Discovery Sanctuary who are dedicated to saving our country’s apex predator from reckless governments who insist on attempting to eradicate them via cruel shooting and baiting programs.
