Ah. That was becoming to be a familiar number. That must have been some sort of…designation for the ones she knew. How fascinating. There was so much she didn’t know. The vastness of multiverses outside of her own world made her feel so small. But…this probably wasn’t the time for that, what with an unknown, potentially dangerous situation on her hands. She knew better than to underestimate someone based on looks, after all.
Yes. It seemed that it was a very good choice not to immediately go and scoop him up into a hug like she would with the Morty she knew.
Instead, her hands are held up, palms out to show that she held no weapons. Not that she needed one to be dangerous, but this would likely be the better option. She didn’t want to have to fight a kid if she didn’t have to…especially with a face that was so familiar. Even though the look in his…eye…was different.
She’d seen that look enough in the mirrors as a child to know it by heart. The look of someone forced to grow up far too fast.
“Robin.” She replies quietly, evenly. A hint of softness in her tone she couldn’t remove even knowing that it wasn’t the young man she knew standing before her.
“And…Yes…You could say that I am a friend. Here I was going to ask what had happened to your eye since the last I saw you.” A small attempt a a joke. “But…I apologize for mistaking you for someone you’re not. I’m sure that gets old quite fast.”
