A belated holiday-related commission for @diminishedideals that I finished up awhile ago and have yet to post. It was fun to toy with the colors in this one~.

That isn’t to say that she is fond of them. Not a day goes by where she does not crave a normal life like what most people in the world experience. But she, a silver-haired half-elf, in a world that views her image as an omen and a curse on the living, had never been applicable for that privilege.

Were it not for the very few who could tolerate and enjoy her presence, such as Puck, she likely would have turned out worse than she is now. While thankful for the very, very few relationships she’s managed to forge since emerging from ice, she does occasionally wonder how happy she would have been if the entirety of her life did not revolve around her drastically unfortunate past.

Though, it seems that today would offer yet another oddity to her. Another unconventional event to pay mind to-- Well, one can’t really call it an event. After all, this was just one man. A man dressed so differently from everyone else that one would have taken him as an ambassador at first... but, even an ambassador has a certain method of dressing that far differs from the way this one had dressed himself. From the materials of his clothes to the way he seemed to be looking at everything around him... she wondered genuinely if everything around him was new to him.

When Emilia walked into this small, unpacked store, she had expected there to be no occupancy. However, this one lone man who occupied an empty table happened to be there, trying to make sense of a map of the city that sat snugly in his hands. When he notices her walking in, he doesn’t immediately look away from her like everyone else does.

No... he... smiled?

“ Ehm... Can I help you, sir? “

Was that the most appropriate thing to ask? Probably not. He only smiled after all.

It was that prisoner girl who was put wrongly into jail and even bullied for it. Now she became an Operator of Rhodes Island. It was better than rotting in that same cell.

The Anaty was outside on some fresh air where she used the trees for target practice where she was running around and throwing the knives with good precision where she would do some parkour,jumping from one tree to another,doing backflips and throwing more than one at the targets before landing down on her feet successfuly as she collected her knives.

{🌹}; There was a bit of worry on Guew, worried that she might have ran into trouble, or gotten herself into one, after seeing the man suddenly reveal himself.

However, when he spoke, she starts to calm down before feeling nervous when asked how she got herself in the cave in the first place.

Things have been calm today. Then again-- things were calm every day, with the reclusive spirit who lived practically separated from everyone else. The rare times she ever leaves the library to eat, see Puck, or tend to other unrelated matters are usually done quickly and without much interruption. However, today wouldn’t be so calm. Today would be annoying, agitating, and headache-inducing.

Unfortunately, Betty is already used to all those things by now. Such shows when Emiya suddenly makes himself present in her library, interrupting her reading and earning him a very stern, butterfly glare.

He says he came with questions, but with a huff, the spirit claps shut her book and sets it aside on the end table nearby.

“ What makes you think I want to answer your questions, I wonder? I’m not your living encyclopedia. There are plenty of books around me that will answer your questions for you. Why do you seek to bother me, of all persons, I suppose? “

"Doctor, please stay still for a moment." For a swift bat to the head with a rolled up newspaper. Yes, he used his arts explicitly for this. "It's rude to talk about Kal'tsit and my relationship so openly... I didn't mean it like that either."
