Coping with Life

Well, at least we know she won't be a picky eater. /hj

They would have a very happy family life, for the most part, as normal as they could make it for her. Flayn's influence would almost supercharge Freya's empathetic side, and Dimitri would have to temper her naivete with some small doses of reality - if for nothing else but to preserve what innocence she has and keep her safe.

Knowing her, Flayn would also likely spend a lot of time watching over Freya's crib, waiting patiently for her child to wake up on the nights when sleep evaded her, and be pleased to see her baby not only well rested by happy to see her.

As parents, both Dimitri and Flayn would make a good match for someone with Freya's personality, raising her to be a sweet child appreciative of the things most others would take for granted.

That said...

Here's where the trouble begins: Dimitri is a Seteth.

He is overprotective of her, shielding her from too many things in an attempt to spare her even a fraction of the pain he had once endured at her age. Though Flayn had experienced much the same, with even greater devastation than he's known, she also had to deal with Seteth's overbearing nature for far too long to let it happen to her child. It is likely this would be a point of contention between the couple.

Married life would also bring about the reveal of Flayn's heritage, if seeing her pointed ears wasn't enough to raise questions earlier on in their courtship. With this would come an understanding that their child would outlive her human father by a significant margin, and she will have to spend several centuries without him by her side to protect her.

Knowing that would probably both terrify Dimitri but also encourage him try and make the most of the time they do have together, and Freya as a result would have an easier time moving on when he does eventually pass away.

As for Freya and Flayn's relationship, that would be a little different as she grows. They would have each other the longest, giving them more time to not only get to know each other on a deeper personal level but also for Flayn to reveal the truth beyond the truth. Yes, she's Saint Cethleann. But more than that, she is a Nabatean, meaning Freya is half such, born to a dying race. Freya would have to learn what that status means to her as an individual, and Flayn would be around for as long as she can to help her find out.

If Seteth is still alive by the time she starts looking into that, Freya would also likely be in close contact with him, learning from her grandfather as much as he can tell about his people. By extension, that would also make her related to Rhea and even Archbishop Byleth, both of whom she would try to contact in regards to that as well.

Based on my playthrough right now. When someone attacks Flayn, Dimitri is always there to protect her. In return, she heals his wounds.
