Jamie’s reaction to opening their front door and seeing Dillion drenched in rain

Jamie was actually caught up on his schoolwork, and it was raining pretty hard outside which meant that he taken the opportunity to push the furniture against the walls, lay out a tarp, and set up to paint. He was dressed in one of the many outfits he had dedicated simply for painting in, as they were too paint stained for much of anything else. It wasn’t like Jamie tried to make a mess, it was just that he made a mess with most everything he did, and for some reason that had always amused his father to no end. He had lost track of time as he had worked on the piece - a landscaped based off a picture he had found - when he heard a knock on the door. Frowning, he set down his paints and wiped his hands off with a towel he kept nearby for that purpose as he headed for the door, unsure of who would be there when he wasn’t expecting anyone. He opened it and his eyes widened as he spotted the girl completely drenched in rain. “Oh, yikes! Come on in, Dillon, I’ll get you a towel or ... or five.”
