TASK 001 :  LIVING SITUATION

Task One: Living Situation

As is surprising to no-one, Lucrecia’s home is as dramatic as she is. Or it was anyway. Lu has tried to re-create her home in Italy as best she can in the Seelie realm, right down to the sleek black cars sitting idle in the garage that she doesn’t need anymore. There’s nothing simple about her house; she chose one of the larger homes in the village because she’s grown accustomed to living large, but she wasn’t willing to give something up in return for one of the mansions. 

#DIH.TASK ─ TASK IV. ❛❛ NIGHTMARES ❜❜ !!

it’s dark here. a kind of dark that doesn’t require sight but sense to understand. the floor is flimsy and creaks, and the air is cold and stagnant in a way that would ward off even the most curious souls. holy oil set alight surrounds them, and the leather straps keep their wrists pressed against splintered wood. what they demand is not in their power to give. what they can provide, they don’t deserve. they won’t accept this. they’re not a violent breed, but with each word, each cut, an electrical surge. faces familiar take turns before there is a light. like a film reel set on fire, the scene around them catches and melts, and the remaining pieces of plastic and silver float down into a black liquid substance swallowing their feet. she is there, too, with a tangled mess of burning tape in her hands ─── it zaps and crackles, but she doesn’t flinch, even as it begins to melt her skin.

BRIANNA VALOIS partially protected the seelie realm, taming any flame that she came across, though her attention has been diverted by the fact that she was trying to get to cosimo’s residence to retrieve her daughter. it was a mission that failed until the archangel himself reunited them, which means that the night has been one of the most stressful experiences in her entire life.

COSIMO DE’ MEDICI stayed neutral. he did not aid the rebellion, but he did not get too caught up in the chaos either. the archangel focused on his children - including amelia, that he promised to protect - and his family. he also encouraged violet to follow him to safety, assuring her that her brother would be smart and strong enough to make it out alive. the medici residence has been saved.

JULIAN RHODES was not aware of the fact that he aided the rebellion by leading certain conversations about orbing while he was surrounded by the wrong people. any involvement has been completely unintentional, but he deeply regrets providing people with knowledge that weakened the defenses of the seelie realm even further. when the realm started to burn, he retrieved nocturna from his mansion before he tried to locate friends and family.

LEOPOLD WAYNE protected the seelie realm right by queen auraline’s side and helped casting the ancient spell, until there was nothing more that they could do. he took his wife to safety after they relocated the realm in central park and has been tending to her needs, having faith that his loved ones would make it out alive.
