as a digoli shipper,i need Oliver with John. oliver is a better person when he's with john. John doesn't baby or woobify oliver. he calls him on his shit and puts his ass in his place when he needs to be put there. also,still mad about ted. I Was Looking forward to ted/dinah and John/Oliver. I Needed it.
Honestly Digoli would be a better ship than a lot of them, my favorite included.
What I'm liking, really liking lately, is that Laurel doesn't give two damns about what Oliver says and goes her own way. You can definitely see her taking on more of a Dinah from the comics role with Oliver now.
Or at least that's how I've interpreted the panels I've seen of Dollie in the comics. He says don't do this/it's too dangerous and she laughs at him and does the thing anyway. Which quite frankly are just some of my favorite ships to begin with, I'm not even going to lie.
She's taking after Diggle in the 'oh hey, you're a major asshole who can't think straight' category and honestly, Oliver needs as many of those people around as he can get. Not even ones he's sleeping with, but just people calling him out on his shit and him willing to listen to them.
I'm not as mad about Ted. I like Ted, but the expectation that we're gonna get Nyssa more full time? That could be a really good thing. I loved her scenes with Laurel and Thea and I'd be interested to see her interact some more with Felicity and Diggle.
And I want her to kick Oliver's ass to Tibet. But you know, I'd settle for North Dakota.
