The young hero explained as the duo traveled, riding on the back of Garurumon alongside Shosei, having been relaying the information he'd learned from perusing Masaki's dreams.
The rest and morning that had followed the fight last night had been thankfully uneventful, no further attacks coming afterwards- presumably equal parts deterred from trying again and busy having to track down their missing compatriot after all Ben had done.
Leaving the four of them plenty of time to recoup, getting comfortable sleep and more than enough to eat, before they headed out the next morning to make good on what they promised.
"Problem is, the thing in the basement would let them portal in anyone and everyone they have at their disposal if we just attacked... assuming they haven't already." Ben continued, fiddling with the Omnitrix- half in preparation, half absentmindedly.
While he had the full spread of his abilities back once again, in addition to a powerful new Evolution to his newest transformation, the two Dark Destined they'd encountered so far made the prospect of fighting them all at once, plus whatever armies of Digimon they'd gathered, nonetheless a worrying one to consider.
"A frontal assault won't work out, probably... but, if I could sneak in and shut it down..." He mused aloud, already working out a game plan as he scrolled through his wheel of aliens. "It won't beat them, but it'll hopefully make getting here a lot less convenient."
