The Digimon crew of my old fan story, Empty Set, drawn for fun!
Empty Set was a Digimon story I conceptualized in December of 2012. It centered around four high schoolers from different cliques who were called to the Digital World. The trouble was, the fifth high schooler and intended leader of the group had his Digivice swiped by the bad guy, and our heroes really didn't get along without his influence.
As for the Digimon, we have the sweet Tuftmon (Vaccine/Light), the missing partner whose Dark Evolution was used as a lackey by the bad guy; the jock Poitoumon (Data/Lightning); the vain Hydrangeamon (Vaccine/Plant); the airheaded Zharmon (Vaccine/Fire); and the phlegmatic Belugamon (Virus/Water).
Maybe I'll update this image later with their evolved forms in the background...?
It's fun to go back to groups of Digimon that were designed for different fan stories and re-draw them. Here's Poitoumon and Zharmon from Digimon Empty Set, both having got a makeover since their last apperance on this blog.
I wanted to create a new look for fan Digimon of mine, Hydrangeamon, but don’t consider this final or anything. I’m just messing around with shapes.
For @digifakeweek today, I’m using the Deep Savers theme to draw Belugamon’s Perfect level, Mobymon! A Demon Beast, Mobymon prowls the Net Ocean ceaselessly. Whatever it bumps into receives the whole of Mobymon’s powerful wrath. However, Mobymon won’t attack targets it can’t see, and because it’s eyesight is pretty bad, it is possible to observe it from afar without getting hurt. Still, I wouldn’t recommend taking that risk.
Interestingly, Mobymon being Belugamon’s evolution is on the good guy’s side, despite being a very vicious Virus-attribute Digimon.

I wasn’t sure if I’d have the energy to do a @digifakeweek prompt today but I’m feeling a bit more awake after dinner so I whipped up a quick drawing for the Perfect prompt today - a total redesign of Hydrangeamon’s Perfect form, Nikkomon.
I decided to give Nikkomon a more conventional fairy-type style body, but she still has her big claws since she’s not a particularly friendly fairy. Nikkomon spares no mercy for those who would harm nature, and fights fiercely in order to gain admiration... and inspire fear.
I did this quickly so I’ll probably come back and tweak the design at another point in the future, but for now this will do.
See Nikkomon’s original design (along with the rest of the line) here.
Here's a revamped Galvemon, Poitoumon's evolution. I don't think I upped the Digimon-style in this one. Maybe another time. I like how his face came out though.

Wanted to revamp some of my fan digis after watching a lot of Digimon. So here is a revamped Narwhalmon, the adult level of Belugamon.
I guess I'm changing Belugamon's attribute to Virus, because it suits his final evolutions better - especially his Perfect level Mobymon.
