I need advice.

For years and years, I've suffered from scratching myself in my sleep, and waking every half hour in my sleep. 

The waking up has been continuous for years and ive tried plenty of things to change it. I just wake up and fall back asleep every half hour or so. 

Whereas the scratching is different - there's periods where it doesn't happen at all; then there's times i'll wake up with quite a few scratches. The thing is though, that I bite my nails right down, and some of the scratches even draw blood or scar. So I must be exerting an awful amount of pressure on myself in my sleep.
