it was loud and bright when shiro crashed his gummi ship on this world. he should really stop trying to fix this thing by himself. or stealing it from cid. that’d be ideal. 

an idea to ponder over at a different time, preferably when he’s not being burned alive by his own stupid ship. it was a miracle he was still conscious when he crashed---crawling out from the broken debris, shiro coughed and wheezed through the smoke and fire, pulling himself out and onto the ground, patting the fire that started on his scarf. 

the replica continued to drag himself away while coughing, trying and failing to cast a simple cure---the green flora burst over his head, but fizzed out before any healing affects could take hold. he must be out of mana. dammit. 

just a glance and he noticed the magic in his clothes had activated, changing his attire to match the world. that... that was good... oh.

“Do you - still have contact with the two girls from middle school? Or, any of your friends from back then.”

“  i knew who he was - i didn’t know what he was planning, not - not like that. i thought . . . if i could just - i thought i could help. i should have told you when we met but - i thought that you might - you might hate me and you were my first real friend - a-and you listened to me, i cared about you. i d-didn’t want to hurt you.  ”  izuku rambles through poorly stifled sniffling, already, tears track over his freckled and scarred cheeks, his hands shake as he fidgets between wiping his face and twisting his fingers. he can’t seem to look anywhere but the linoleum floor of the hospital room, shame and guilt battling for dominance inside such a small body.

taking these heavy-hitting meat-heads down shouldn’t be as tough as it’s turning out to be currently. attacks and artes that were usually so second nature to him to perform were beginning to take a toll on his body, leaving his arms and legs weak and shaky. a feeling he hasn’t felt since he last unleashed his inner beast in his confrontation with kasque.

coughing, vicious barely dodges another swing of the mitachurl’s massive axe coming down to crack the earth---electricity sparked against his skin, burning through his veins and muscles, and the fire radiating under his skin crackled and an explosion threw the transgressor away and to the ground. he hit the rocky road with a loud thud, scraping against the dirt and rolling until he came to a stop by a boulder. 

this sucked. this sucked so bad. 

heaving a heavy breath, vicious pushed himself up by an elbow, stabbing the blade of his gun in the opposite hand into the ground to prop himself up further. with a wince, he glared at the approaching beast, swearing a rainbow in his head before suddenly---a crack, and the beast fell over. 

            “   okay !  that’s enough training for the day ,  don’t you think ?   ”   there’s a small giggle that leaves the purple sparks around her disappear ,  green eyes still as bright ,  but not glowing like before   —   no hint of magic or any vision being used anymore .   “   you did amazing !  you’re making a lot of progress ,  razor !   ”
