#different spokes

Shortly after this picture was taken, we began a VERY COLD descent through patches of snow and ice on the shady side of the mountain - something native Angelinos are not accustomed to dealing with.

I bought a this bike from Just Ride LA in August, and have been doing quite a bit of riding since. I completed a two-hour bike fitting session, and it was time well spent. Before settling on this bike, I rode several others including a Pinarello, Bianchi, and Ciocc. But this one just felt right.

My REI flat-bar bike is now relegated to commuting to work, CicLAvia, and another other rides where bike etiquette does not seem to be in effect.

Since I bought this bike, I’ve been a regular at Different Spokes club rides. I’ve been a member of Difference Spokes for almost 3 years, but never bothered to show up for a ride until recently. I’m working up a century ride, but to date have only gone as far as 76 miles in a single ride.
