Diego had needed a break. Hours spent indoors had started to get to him. So, when lunch time had come around, he'd taken the opportunity to head outside. He needed the sun if he was going to be expected to make any sort of coherent decision for the remainder of the day. With a sigh, he set his work bag on the table and pulled out a folder. He'd been in the process of selecting paint colors and try as he may, he simply couldn't decide. "Help me choose," he directed as he spread the cards containing the palettes on the table before him. "If you were to walk into a hotel lobby, which color would scream thanks for choosing us, we're happy to have you?"

It was kind of nuts how good Kit was doing at this gambling thing. You’d think that kind of rush would keep a player at the tables, piling their winnings higher and higher, but Kit knew better than to let it get in his head. Quit while you’re ahead as they say. And that’s exactly what Kit did. After his last win, he excused himself from the tables, wandering off to fetch himself a drink at the bar. A nice refreshing glass of water to cool himself down. But this was a fancy glass of water. There was a slice of lemon in it! Kit was poking at the perfectly cut wedge when he noticed Diego walk by, his brows jumping in interest. Without much thought, he followed after his roommate, greeting him. “Diego, hey. Winning big tonight?”
