Same anon who asked the previous question about Diego; It makes me so happy to have someone who also thinks about El Tigre's universe! When I look at the tumblr tag its full of Nicktoonverse stuff. Not that I hate it, I just want to see other peoples ideas on the other characters of El Tigre! Dr Chipotle Jr is so fascinating to me! Django of the Dead, too! Not to mention the villians we didnt get to see because of the cancellation. I have my own AU in my head that revolves around Diego in particular, I keep going back and fourth on actually writing a fanfic for it. I hope you post more about your AU!
I'd love to hear more about your AU! I'm currently working on a Fairly Odd Parents comic right now but my next project is El Tigre 10 years in the future! The comic will likely be in the original show style like my fairly odd parents one! Diego will probably be the main character just because he is my absolute favourite character 😺

I think maybe this year I will finally write that fanfic. I am trying to get over the thought that no one would care for it, but it should be more for me, you know?
My main idea for it is it revolving around Chipotle Jr as well. He, Django, and Zoe make a super villain group known as The Tres Teen Terrors, and become the top group. But Diego starts having strange symptoms of illness start to happen to him, and to add to the drama Prince Mikla has been making an appearance and seems interested in Diego for some reason. Why is that? What is happening to Diego? And where the hell is El Tigre in all this?
That would genuinely be so cool! My comic is basically Diego takes this serum to relieve himself of his arm pain since his arm was ripped off when he was young but it had been affecting him for years and he has almost like a Jekyll and Hyde scenario with his Anti-hero self

So obviously we know Diego and Sergio had crushes on Frida, the way my Diego went was a little different he decided to create a creature for something good to impress Frida and while she liked it she still rejected him. Diego resented the creature for a while but eventually realized he liked helping people out especially because the people he helped knew his name and complimented him on his intelligence. Sergio stayed a full time villain since he knew Frida was still an Anti-hero herself so she's still a little evil sometimes. Diego's father was furious with him constantly asking to do brain scans and tests on Diego to see what was wrong with him but in the end there wasn't much Chipotle Sr. could do since Diego can make his own choices. He doesn't do large hero work until he's about 16 and that's when he and Sergio have their stage of flirting and dancing around one another.
Diego is still called a mad evil scientist up into his 20's but he helps Manny out and still causes some horrible property damage with Sergio and Zoe. Diego and Frida will meet up when they want to do something dangerously stupid and Manny is off with the Nicktoons team. It usually ends with both of them getting scolded by their villain partners for almost messing up their plans.
