Where is he? He looks around for a moment, adjusting his suit, and then waves to get the attention of one of the people nearby.

Qiqi was bad enough about getting lost in Liyue, and now that she’s in such unfamiliar surroundings, she’s even worse off. It seems like every day these days, Qiqi finds herself wandering off in some wrong direction or another, and it takes her almost the whole day just to figure out her way back. 

Usually she’s left well enough alone, but sometimes certain adults try to help her... She appreciates the help, of course, but certain previous bad experiences do leave her wary. (Much too many people have wished her buried for comfort, and for all she knows this could happen here, as well.) 

This particular man that approaches her today... Qiqi has a bad feeling about. She doesn’t know if it’s the way he’s speaking to her or the way he’s slowly approaching her, but he does seem to bring back memories of someone not very nice that she’s dealt with before, and every part of her just wants to be away from him. Now.

She feels a rush of relief at the sound of a woman’s voice, one that seems to be coming to her aid, but she freezes when she hears the words ‘little sister.’ Little sister... Is she talking about her? Qiqi has never been called those words before... Or if she has, she doesn’t remember. Whatever family she might have had... Is gone.

Is this woman her family somehow...? Or... Is she saying she is her family now?

Perihelion opens the door to some back room and ushers its fellow chase-ee in with it, to avoid the few stone statues that have been in pursuit. It can still hear them moving around outside, but they don’t seem to be trying to break the door down, at least.

This is all extremely strange.
