Unfortunate News - Closing all RP blogs
Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later, but I am officially retiring this blog, as well as the rest of my RP blogs.
I kept telling myself I’d get back to Tumblr RP eventually, but it’s not happening. And it’s not happening for a number of reasons:
Poor health on the mun’s part;
School starting again, as well as the need to find an internship so I can graduate;
Lack of roleplaying muse for certain OCs;
A growing interest in pursuing totally original OCs and stories, and
Being disgusted by the fandoms I’m in.
Over the past few months, I’ve been finding much more joy in working on totally original projects, and an increasing amount of frustration with fandom-related projects and characters. It’s gotten to the point where I wish to retire many of my fandom OCs and transfer them into original universes and stories, where they can further grow and bloom, and where I won’t have to put up with petty drama. It’s heartbreaking, when you want to join a fandom and ultimately wind up disgusted by the behavior of the people in it.
I want to move muses such as Raven, Geddie, and Ethyl to original stories. The latter two are already on their way there, making appearances as characters in a game I am currently working on. I am finding that original stories and projects are much more worth my time and effort lately, and bringing my tired soul much joy.
I thank each and every one of my mutuals, from the bottom of my heart, for interacting and roleplaying with me. I have loved each and every one of the interactions on this blog; they have all helped shape Raven into the character she’s grown to be. I am also grateful for all my non-mutuals who have followed me and shown interest in this character and her story. All your support has meant a lot to me.
For mutuals only: if you’d like to keep in contact, you’ll likely find me active on my personal blog, @deeyahs, from now on. Or, if you prefer, I have a Discord I am willing to share with you. IM me privately and I’ll give it to you, as long as we’re mutuals.
Thank you again for all the love, interactions, and great times we’ve had on this blog! I love you all.
P.S: Tumblr did not notify me, but thank you to the few who sent me cute and sweet asks over the course of the past few months. I unfortunately will not be answering them, but I see them and I love them.
