hehehe yes! my thought for damian was that he notices all the others getting together, and when he takes a second to think about why it's them and not also cass & duke (i know duke was in we are robins but for this i was keeping it to those who were batman's partner?), he realizes they're connected by robin and he feels left out. so he shows up on dick's doorstep on his own
