Dammit why did the guy have to go and let his soul go astray. Not that he’d had a whole lot of compassion to begin with, but the very essence of who Sherlock was... was now gone, and Sam was determined to help get it back, even if that help happened to be unwanted.

Death has been anything but peaceful thus far, but he honestly can’t imagine it being such a tumultuous ride for everyone else, nor does he believe it, not for a second.
