The doors in front of him dinged, announcing the arrival of his escape and he jumped, startled from the memory of her so close to him and the chance he failed to take. He stepped into the harshly lit space pushing away the claustrophobia that still plagued him on occasion. The doors slid closed but the lift car didn’t move. Niall didn’t move. He couldn’t make himself press the button. He didn’t want to leave. If he left that was the end of it. His mind still reeling from the missing kiss, he made a decision. He jabbed furiously at the door open button.
“Open up you fuckers.” He growled at the steel doors blocking his way.
He was not going to end the night this way.

How long does it take before Niall becomes a sulky baby bc you're jokingly picking on him for something dumb he did? I mean you know he'd be all like "yeah yeah yeah...ha ha ha... laugh it up chuckles..." at first and then he'd turn into a toddler with his arms crossed and his lip stuck out bc you're being mean to him
