You know, even though it doesn't change the fact that Diaspro's only crime was just being in the wrong place at the wrong time, Bloom going after her in Secrets Within Secrets isn't actually an unreasonable reaction at all.
Think about it. Bloom didn't go after Diaspro after she saw her talking to "Brandon" and declared he was her boyfriend out of jealousy. She attacked her because she thought she was the Trix playing a mean trick on her. Again.
Because that's what makes Bloom's reaction understandable, albeit not justified. It isn't far-fetched of Bloom to think the Trix would play with her emotions like that.
After all, Icy, Darcy, and Stormy had been bullying, threatening, attacking, and emotionally manipulating the Winx all season.
1) They almost killed Bloom during their first and second encounters, back to back.
2) They pretended to be Brandon to lure Stella into a life-threatening trap to steal her ring.
3) They tricked Bloom into giving Riven faulty gear that could have killed him only to make him hold a grudge and sway him to their side.
4) Icy ruthlessly taunted Musa about her unrequited crush on Riven and then sicced countless witches after her.
6) They hijacked Bloom's simulation exam and pretended to kill Kiko to enrage her to the point of confirming whether she had the Dragon Flame or not.
7) They went out of their way to help Lucy win the Miss Magix pageant with the intention of humiliating her at the last second.
8) They already tricked Bloom into thinking she was the reincarnation of the Three Ancient Witches, something that scarred her to the point of wanting to leave Magix.
9) They sent that nightmare monster after the girls, a creature that specifically drew out their deepest fears and insecurities.
Compared to all that, Darcy disguising herself as Brandon's supposedly secret girlfriend to mess with her head is child's play.
Sure, Diaspro kept trying to tell her she was Princess Diaspro, Prince Sky's betrothed, and Bloom didn't listen. But, honestly, can you blame her?
For starters, by that point Bloom knew nothing of Magix royalty, so it's not even like a certain Princess Diaspro would have rung a bell. Heck, not even Stella seemed to know much about the Eraklyon Royal Family if she also bought Brandon and Sky's switcheroo and had no idea that she was technically seeing a betrothed man.
Not to mention, in you were in Bloom's shoes, what would you believe? The words of some random snobbish girl you just met, and who you already suspect to be one of your enemies in disguise? Or what you think you know about your close friend and crush?
Bloom's actions may not be justified by any means, but the fact that she would attack Diaspro because she thought she was one of the Trix makes perfect sense and can hardly be held against her.
