as such, I feel a deep affection and nostalgia for it. while not my fave pair in a shipping sense, I really like the dynamic they both can have! just, the chaotic neutral energy is amazing. both are strict yet very scatterbrained at the same time, and that makes it much more fun exploring their characters as they are more similar to each other than anyone else. I think that's what makes so charming to picture their probable interactions in different scenarios.

so!

padlock is, as most know, one of the most popular ships/duos in the fandom (if not THE most popular one, I think!); so it's sure to say that my first encounter with them was pretty quickly after getting interested in dhmis!

also, I can really see them accidentally reinforcing each other's most reckless behaviors, perhaps through misunderstandings, or through giving each other "teaching advice/tips" to keep their students "well behaved", hence why the "they can make each other worse <3" part nvn

personally, I view their relationship as a platonic one, but I also am fond of the romantic version of it! I think that vision's mostly thanks to their versions of the fancomic of "adventures in lurning" becoming my hc interpretations of them. the L is Weegee dub of them was just so much fun to watch!
