This panels are a few chapters away and only one night difference. Memoire 3 and 8

Johann is presented as Dante's friends/co-worker that had some exclusive information about Ruthven's borreau.

Mr. Spider is presented as some mysterious masked person that attacked Luca and Noé in the masquerade along with masked Gano (a chasseur that works with Ruthven).

Some information about Mr. Spider:

- Mr. Spider doesnt talk that much but when he does his voice is different from everyone:

- This detail that is a theory inside a theory: Naenia appeared from Spider's back:

I find it curious this information because Vanitas in memoire 1 called malnomens a kind of "malady" and people usually refers to affected vampires as curse-bearers. Bearer. Like if you are carrying with this curse with you all the time, like a illness. And how the illness are spread? Being in contact with the bearers.

My point is that Naenia can only curse new people (try to steal their names) through people that is already carrying the curse. It doesn't appear randomly. This left 2 possibilities open:

- Mr. Spider is a vampire (since we never saw any evidence of a human worried about the curse, I discard the option of Spider being other human chasseaur)

- Mr. Spider is Johann and therefore dhampirs can be cursed too.

We don't know almost anything about dhampirs so why not? I should make a post about this theory better explained sometime.

Well, and after this points about Mr. Spider we reach the suspicious coincidence: the left arm.

Our main characters finally meet Johann in memoire 13 and 14

This image have a lot of information: he didn't even presented himself, the 1st thing he said is excusing his state saying: while I was alone... I was injured... This is a good justification because vampires are disappearing in Paris lately but this is, again, some exclusive information Orlok has. Later, we learn this is because Moreau's experiments. And who is working with Moreau? Exactly, Mr. Spider.

+ That commentary in memoire 14: one false step, and there could even be another war. I believe any person that knows anything about politics in vnc world may know this but I find interesting that Johann says this when the suit Spider is wearing while attacking Luca is a chasseur's uniform. What would happen if the vampires learn that their "dear" hair to power has been killed by a person with chasseur's uniform? Exactly, another war. (Why would want Ruthven another war? My mind is white here so if you have some idea I could love to hear it).

Mr.Spider in memoire 17

We saw Spider again after the masquerade where he had his left arm injured. But here, about a week after, we cant see his left arm in any moment.

This is all the suspicious thing about both characters having the same arm broken in the same period of time but there are one more thing in Gevaudan:

Johann around Charlatan in memoire 26, 38 and 39

Johann seems no affected (surprised) by Charlatan in memoire 26, like if he had seen this before. Then when Faustina/Naenia left Chloé in memoire 38 Johann is the only one that doesn't appeared surrounded by Charlatan (I know JJ isn't there neither but he was unconscious). And when he reappeared to wake Dante he is just... fine? Like, he didn't see anything weird like everyone else (I mean, even Marco was affected) or is he used to it? Suspicious.
