Hello Hello and welcome to the last session of Newvemner. I hope you guys had a wonderful time enjoying these different comics as much as I did. 

And that was Not Drunk Enough and boy oh boy do they lean heavily into That.

You know, the comic is a pretty good horror story. No idea why the monsters are attacking. People getting killed and eaten or worse. The designed are creepy, unsettling, or terrifying. That shadow demon rib cage thing was fucking horrible. like, I shudder to think that thing crawling upside down at me at 3am.

It also helps that Author really does use the whole comic to their advantage. Monster design, color mood shift, off box sound effects and text. If you want to write good horror you need to set the atmosphere for it and she manages to use the comic to the full extent.

Plot wise it is a classic start to a Monster-of-the-Week story isn’t it? 4 people through various means arrive at a laboratory being overrun by monsters and they have to fight or die. I think I’m feeling Logan the most here, with his Punch First Freak Out Later strategy. Bia seems to be the sweet one so not much opinion of her yet. Maela is setting herself up as a leader. And Varker is just really funny. Sorry for his whole monster head, but he is a smug ass that honestly is justified to wanting his vengeance. So we know why the guys are here, but the girls still remain a mystery.

Also please don’t play the drinking game. I get that it’s a joke because of the title, but I am sure you will black out while reading this.
