The Sylveon stuck out like a sore thumb. The red hues of autumn contrasted too much with the blue of his fur. He was a little too easy to spot. He longed for winter, when he could blend in better-- and his longer fur would come in handy.
Foxglove walked through the forest, listening to bug Pokemon sing, seeing Illumise and Volbeat dance with each other. It was a lovely little sight, but he still felt like he wasn’t alone. He wasn’t enjoying the view by himself.
As a cat, he wanted to remain cautious. He needed a vantage point. The nearby tree would do. He’d climbed up, perching on a branch before realizing someone already occupied it.
He almost fell over and hung by his claws in shock, yelping and shaking the branch with the sudden shift in wait.
“Holy shit-- I didn’t see you there--”
Well, that fellow had a red hood, matching the autumn leaves. Of course he wouldn’t notice.
