she promised that       she would       drop henry     off at        tobias house ,      joshua had asked      that of her       and      she had        the day off ,      so why not       go visit       and      show off      her new ring .       as she walks through       the door      of         the  massive house ,       she is greeted      by the toddler       and       pressed a kiss       to her head       and watches       as henry      takes her        with him      and       begins       to play      on the floor .       she turns       to see      tobias       and dexter     and       smirks at       the pair      ❛ why am i        not surprised        that      you’re here glued    to      toby’s hip ? ❜       she turned      to dexter with        a small smile  ,       placing       a kiss on      each of their      cheeks      and      taking a       the bottle     of      red wine out .      ❛ shall        we crack       this      baby open    ?   ❜ 

they had just agreed to start over, agreed to forget the past and to get to know each other for who they were now. and before they could even start, persephone vanished. but the truth was, it had nothing to do with him. with the stresses of her kids, of being back in hollywood, of the wars her parents were trying to start with slandering her on social media for showing her face again, she felt herself on the verge of caving into the demons that almost took her life all those years ago and she knew she had to get away before it got the best of her. she didn’t want him to be mad, didn’t want this to cause a fight, especially since she didn’t expect him to have been waiting around all this time - she wouldn’t have blamed him for moving on. but still, she felt like she owed him some kind of explanation. gently knocking on the door of his trailer, she felt that familiar fluttering in the pit of her stomach as soon as he opened the door and laid his eyes on her. “did you miss me?” she said, lips curling into the softest hint of a smile.

if there was one thing jackson loved, it was bringing people together. not because of feelings of comradery, but because when you got people to loosen up, you could find out their secrets and store them in your arsenal. and that’s just what his end of summer party on his yacht was for. making his way across the deck, he grinned when he saw dex sitting by himself. any friend of tobias’ was a friend of his by default, basically. “dude, there’s a slew of victoria’s secret models at the front of the boat and you’re just sitting here by yourself?”
