Just found out that if I were a lantern be a red lantern after taking multiple quizzes on google. I honestly donโt know how to feel about it
Being a Red Lantern isn't an inherently bad thing. They're not evil. Sure they have particular arcs where actions are taken that aren't good, but they're not an evil aligned group--they're neutral. Most RL's are RL's because of some type of trauma or loss they experienced that drove them to be found by the RLR.
Dex'Starr lost his owner in a home robbery then was almost murdered by two thugs who threw him over a bridge.
Bleez was a crowned princess who was taken by the Sinestro Corps and repeatedly sexually assaulted by their members before she escaped.
Guy Gardner's brief time as a RL was because Kyle had "died" and he grieved his brother in arm's loss so greatly.
Hal Jordan became a RL in Injustice because of the things he did during the Regime, what he did to his friends, etc.
Atrocitus, the founder of the RLC, was one of 5 survivors of the Sector 666 Massacre that the Guardian's of the Universe carried out. No justice was given to the survivors, no one paid for the genocide, no one did a thing.
Being a RL doesn't make you an evil person and it's not a bad thing. If you've experienced some type of injustice in your life, or loss, or deep resentment, being a RL wouldn't be a completely out of the blue thing--it'd be logical.
But what I want you to take away from this is: Red Lanterns are not evil. They are people who have experienced deeply traumatic things that resulted in their overwhelming anger. Just because someone is a RL, it doesn't mean they're evil
