Adjustable Shop Stool with Casters
The New DEWALT DXSTAH025 Rolling Shop Stool was built using the same powder-coated, industrial grade steel uprights and crossbeams as our 4 ft. storage rack. Made for professional use, this rolling stool also fits perfectly into a high-end homeowners garage! Unlike many other rolling stools on the market, the DEWALT model has a very comfortable foam-padded seat with a 360 degree swiveling pneumatic piston. The seat height can be adjusted 4.5 inches from its lowest of 22 inches to a maximum of 26.5 inches. This allows for adjustment for a comfortable seating position for the task at hand. The seat cover is a rip-resistant textured vinyl. Under the seat is a wire grid lower shelf provides an ideal place to store necessary tools and supplies. This area is really nice for pliers, but it does not work very well for sockets as the grate is fairly large. There are nice swivel casters that are bolted to the metal frame. Also in the box are glass-filled nylon feet along with a set of leveling shims. If you do not want to roll around, these feet provide a stable footprint and also lower the stool by 3-1/2 inches.
