DEVON WALKER: DON'T GO. STAY.
parker would like to say he didn't get attached to things, but the opposite tended to be true. with such an addictive personality, it was hard for him not to latch onto others, to cling, to rely on those that wormed their way into the most desperate parts of his brain. that's why he often opted to push them away - it saved parker, and anyone unlucky enough to be around him, from the world of hurt that came with his attachment. unfortunately, devon lingered. she wouldn't allow parker to side step out of the way of her gravitational pull. it's not her fault, despite parker wanting to blame her for how much he wanted to stay. glancing down at the redhead who now asks him not to go, parker has half a mind to leave and never look back. that would make their ending a lot easier on both of them. instead, he gazed at devon for a moment longer before sitting back down across from her, clasping his hands together in his lap. 'if i'm stayin', i'm gonna need some whiskey,' @devonwalker.
