The former Devonshire Road Hospital building from Talbot Road during the demolition works of 2007.
It opened in 1891 as the Blackpool Isolation Hospital for infectious diseases, later becoming Blackpool Sanitorium until 1954 when it became Devonshire Road Hospital.
After its 2007 demolition, the council spent close to £200k on transforming it into a staff car park that barely anyone used.
After spending £35k per year on rent until 2017 it was decided the council would purchase the plot for £1.05m in 2020, only to sell it in 2024 for £1 and approve the site to be the location of the new magistrates' court.
