Iβm so tired of anti-revolution stories that reinforce the idea that retaliation/revenge against oppressive systems is crueler than the people who are in power who stand to benefit from said oppressive systems. like shut UP omfg she is not βcruelβ her people have been suffering bc of the brits, they owe you no sympathy imfao saying that we should all be peaceful and stop being violent while completely disregarding the exploitative history of how they we got to the point is simply ignorant (and in the case of these types of stories, lazy writing). the way this sort of theme is consistent throughout remyβs books says enough
