We came up to the Devil tower and stared in awe! My heart heated faster as I saw a man climbing the side of it. I gulped down the adrenaline that started and calmed. We wouldn’t be doing that. No yet anyway. I needed to feel better in my head after a horrible accident. Two steps forward and one step back. That’s the truth. But I have kept trucking along. Nowadays, my pain is nothing compared to then, and that was 4 years ago!
