Floors upon floors of residential apartments were stacked on top of one another and ascended into the overcast sky above. The distance between each skinny building was cramped, to say the least; and the sidewalks below each complex's entrance was suffocating, at best. With hands tightly twisted inside his pockets, Shizuo made his way down the shanty street with eyes already immune to the gawks and stairs his bleached hair usually gave.

And while he certainly would have preferred to end up on the other side of the large street, a uniformed hand swiftly swung up and prevented him from passing through. The flashes of camera lights and the sounds of plaques being put down on the ground raised enough curiosity for him to glance at the scene ahead of him.

A body was strewn against the curb, staining the cement oxblood: it was a murder, no doubt, and trampling through the street would mean tampering with evidence. Shizuo gave a soft grunt, and was about to make his way around when the sight of a young boy decked out in a detective uniform crossed his gaze. Just what were these police thinking, having a young kid like that already on the job? Maybe he was an intern, but...still...

"...They start you young, don't they?" he said, not entirely sure whether his own comment was even meant for the boy. "I would've picked a better job." Because the police never actually bothered to examine evidence they ironically take pains to cultivate. Just a thought.

5Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)?

Something of a neat freak, even if she herself quite fails to acknowledge the truth ─ the sort who will happily dust her room herself if she has a spare moment, who washes her hands before and after every meal, and even has something of an aversion to dirt.

6Eating habits and sample daily menu?

Although by no means what one might call a picky eater - the sort to poke and prod at whatever morsel she might disagree with - she admittedly doesn’t have that great an appetite most usually. Ever-grateful as she is, however, she tends to eat whatever is prepared for her by the house chef, and as such rarely has any expectations of a daily menu save the quality of food.

17Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress?

By and large, her preferred mode of dress is one conservative: no doubt the result of her upbringing, as per the norm, but even setting aside what external influences she's had placed on her, she simply doesn't feel all too comfortable in the casual wear of jeans and t-shirts. She's been taught to always dress to leave some lasting impression, and she still does to some extent now; first and foremost, however, she values the comfort and functionality of clothing over the extravagance most in her position would perhaps favour.

39: Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither?

Hmm. Perhaps both, in a way? He definitely feels superior to other people when it comes to his fighting ability + physical prowess, but at the same time, it's honestly the only thing he has going for him as things are right now, so... both of these kind of clash with each other. On a daily basis, whilst talking normally, probably neither, though.

44: Superstitions or views on the occult?

Nothing too extreme -- he does like to joke about that stuff from time to time, but rarely ever takes it to heart. He's pretty headstrong and down to earth, so believing in supernatural isn't the easiest for him; that includes curses and bad omens, although if you panic about something long enough, he'll probably pick it up from you.
